Calcium Chloride
Prevents and Melts ice down to -32 degree celcius.
This product is highly recommended for vulnerable surfaces such as masonry (stone or brick), wood, or concrete that is pre-cast, chipped, cracked, spalled, weathered, has exposed aggregate or is less than on year old.
Vegetation: If applied incorrectly or in excess, the ice melter can damage vegetation. Avoid excessive applications around vegetation or in areas where run-off flows into vegetation.

Ice Melt
50 lbs bags Purement Plus w/Calcium Chloride and CMA. Safe to use on concrete, asphalt, and lawns. Do not use on concrete less than 1 year old. Melts ice up to -31 degrees or warmer.

Sand Bags
Our sand bags are approximately 55 lbs when dry and are used for weight in your vehicle during our winters. Sand bags can also be used for building damns and/or retaining walls. The Black Dirt Company has teamed up with Spruce Grove Minor Football to produce 1000 sand bags each year.

Sanding Chips
Also referred to as Buckshot, and is applied on iced parking lots to improve traction. Property managment companies do prefere "Buckshot" over "Sand".

Sanding Truck
We have a 5 ton single axle truck with a spreader unit in the back. It is used to spread sanding chips (buckshot) on parking lots, driveways or roadways to provide traction. The unit can carry up to 2 yards of sanding chips at one time. Price per yard is for local delivery.
